Let me get you the truth: Expendables 2 is one of the best action movies of all times.

Period.

Yesterday after having my right leg swollen like an alien had nested inside of my muscle (The perks of training jiujitsu), went to watch this movie with mixed feelings. I didn´t know if it was going to be good, but I was not expecting it to be neither, I just wanted to have a good time and relax at a nice cinema. I also had a free ticket from the REGAL card thing so it was even better.

I chose Expendables 2 because I have practicaly seen all the good movies available these days (Yeah, I will not consider “Batman” in that group of “good” movies), and for one simple reason: I grew up in the 80′s and in the 90′s I was a teenager.

Names that for most are “old people” were gods to my generation: Van Damme, Stallone, Schwarzenegger or the epic Chuck Norris… You can find them all in one single movie, and the movie is fucking awesome.

The reasons are simple: Its a “I dont give a fuck” movie. All the “bad guys” die in violent ways (like in the 80′s), the machine guns are huge (Like in the 80′s), Chuck Norris fucking kills it, Stallone can even act a little, even Statham does some aikido and jet Li kills it, everything explodes, the bad guys are kinda bulgarian, and there is even a chinese girl that kicks ass and that has probably one of the sexiest mouths on movie history… I could go on but the list is too long.

GO watch the movie if you like action movies, and if you want to have a great time. There are jokes, great photography and ey, nobody can beat Van Damme as a bad guy.

Shit, I think will watch it again…
